Abstract

The study relevance is due to the fact that educational content is an excellent springboard for story development; story, in turn, is a fertile ground for gaining new experience and knowledge. Therefore, experienced educators often intuitively use narrative techniques in educational decisions. However, if one wants to maximize the power of history to improve the educational content effectiveness, it’s not so much intuitive as strategic to approach the matter. But one should not forget about the inspiration either: narrative and learning are creative processes. The author presents the narrative tools in developing educational solutions, their stages and educational benefits. In this study, answers are obtained why a narrative should be included in a serious learning process; what distinguishes a high-quality narrative from an episodic plot addition that has no meaning and purpose; how to turn a narrative into a working tool for programme design; what creative narrative formats can be applied in the full-time programme.
