Abstract
Brushless DC motors offer many advantages over brushed DC motors. In this article, based on the constructed kinematic model of a brushless motor, a classical sliding mode of motor control is synthesized. A study of the sliding mode of motor control was carried out in the Matlab Simulink software environment and the shortcomings of the classical sliding controller were established. To eliminate these shortcomings, an adaptive sliding controller has been synthesized, consisting of a classical sliding controller and a PI controller. Simulation in the Matlab Simulink software environment proves the efficiency of a synthesized adaptive sliding controller that controls a brushless motor in an environment of noise and disturbances.
