Abstract

The article discusses scientific and practical issues of organizing the public procurement process, noting that modern challenges and problems that they are designed to solve have become more complex and include social and political aspects, variations in the internal and external environment for small and medium-sized businesses, territorial and industry characteristics and needs, factors for long-term sustainable development and much more. There are many participants involved in the public procurement system, both institutional and individual. All this justifies the relevance of analyzing the global practice of organizing public procurement.
