Abstract

Purpose: This study is to identify the effect of the body image of a college student on sports self-confidence.<BR> Methods: The study collected 300 students using the Stratified cluster random sampling method for university students in D city and used the final 274 copies in the study. Based on the results obtained through regression analysis along with frequency analysis and factor analysis, the following conclusions were obtained<BR> Results: First, the physical aspect partially affected the self-confidence of character sports. Specifically, the higher the body-related factors and health-related factors among the lower factors in the body, the higher the confidence in character sports. Second, the physical aspect partly affected the sense of state sports self-confidence. The higher the health-related factors among the physical sub-factors, the higher the confidence in health. Third, the physical aspect partly affected competitive self-confidence. Specifically, the higher the body-related factors and health-related factors among the lower factors in the body, the higher the competition-oriented self-confidence.<BR> Conclusion: As such, it is meaningful to educate college students about the importance of physical fitness, exercise and health by identifying their physical effects on sports self-confidence.
