The Sixties' Generation was convinced that they had a natural right to their ideas, culture and language. The Ukrainian sixties were sharing the similar ideas as others, but their activities were mostly tied with the conception of the national renaissance, the manifest for national identity and straightening of position of their native language. Leonid Kiselyov was one of the Ukrainian sixties who had all of these ideas and was an eminent author among the sixties movement.
