Abstract
The article reviews the content of the «emotional burn-out» term, the history of its emergence. The author singles out personality-based, role-based and organizational emotional burn-out factors. The paper dwells upon the issues related to the study of the emotional burn-out syndrome of judges. The author concludes that manifestations of burn-out of judges should be treated in several ways at once including: lowering of judicial burden, psychological education, creation of conditions for emotional and psychophysiological release, teaching of coping behavior strategies in situations caused by professional stress. The publication discusses the idea of creation of a psychological service in the judicial system.
