Abstract

The purpose of this study was to collect the opinions of homeroom teachers, survival swimmers, and students who have participated in survival swimming to identify problems and to seek ways to improve the curriculum to provide basic data for making an educational model suitable for the reality of Korea.<BR> Accordingly, the perception of teachers, leaders, and students about survival swimming education in elementary school was examined. In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 teachers, 10 leaders, and a total of 20 people. In addition, a questionnaire was conducted for 1,400 learners. Through this, the results of the study to provide basic data for improving the survival and swimming education model by identifying problems in the survival and swimming education field are as follows.
