Abstract

The aim of this article is to examine the Islamic direction of Qatar’s foreign policy and its toolkit. One of the objectives of the study is to identify the transformations, the main motivations, tendencies, and prospects of Qatar’s cooperation with the Islamic religious-political forces, in particular with the "Muslim Brotherhood" movement in the period before and after the "Arab Spring". The article is based on the study of official documents, official announcements, leading international research and information centers, and international news. The analysis carried out in the article shows that for Qatar, which seeks leadership in the region, the "Muslim Brotherhood" has become a serious toolkit of influence serving also the agenda of the Turkish-Qatari tandem
