Abstract
It is known that the role of the process of informatization of education is currently increasing. This process determines the creation and active application of methods and technologies of teaching, using computers. Currently, along with the training program and electronic textbooks, electronic educational resources are actively used in education. The productive use of electronic educational resources affects the improvement of the quality of education. The article discusses the definitions given by researchers about electronic educational resources. Various points of view of researchers about the essence of electronic educational resources are analyzed. The article also highlights the capabilities of electronic educational resources.
