Abstract
The article considers the essence and basic principles of the organization of organic agriculture. The issue of organizational and legal regulation of this field of activity is highlighted and the regulatory regulation of organic production is highlighted. The analysis of organic production on a global scale and the scale of the Russian Federation is presented. The algorithm of the life cycle of production and certification of organic products is analyzed.
