Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find a way to prevent occupational accidents through recognition of foreign workers' occupational safety. The number of foreign workers is increasing. However, many foreign workers are exposed to industrial accidents. Many foreign workers perform jobs that Koreans are reluctant to do, such as manufacturing, construction, and agriculture, fisheries and fisheries. They do not receive proper safety training. It is necessary to prevent and manage industrial accidents in consideration of linguistic and cultural differences. In order to understand the safety status of foreign workers in local industrial sites, a survey was conducted on workers and employers. By analyzing the factors impeding industrial safety, policy measures to improve the safety situation of foreign workers were presented.
