Abstract

Objectives: This study analyzed the factors influencing the compassion competence of dental hygienists in relation to job satisfaction. Methods: The study period was from 250 professors at some universities were analyzed. Using SPSSWIN 18.0. Results: Compassion competence is a significant amount of correlation with Job Satisfaction(F=14.386, p<0.001), and the explanatory power was 39.4%. Among the independent variables, Communication skills(β=.569) was found to have the greatest influence. Final education(graduate or higher), Compassion competency, Communication skills, Sensitivity, and Insight were found to have an effect. Conclusions: In the future, it is considered that it is necessary to establish an effective strategy to enhance the Compassion Competence of clinical dental hygienists and to strengthen Job Satisfaction.
