Abstract

Migration is a topical issue in Georgia, as it is in many other countries. There are various causes that contribute to migration, including changes in the economy and personal choices. It should be mentioned that according to the research, in the context of Georgia's recent history, financial transfers from immigrants may be able to support the nation's economic growth. Remittances have the potential to stimulate individual sectors of the economy, contribute to the stability of national currencies, improve household living standards. To some extent, the state can direct the remittance resource towards social economic development by implementing appropriate policies.
