Abstract

The main indicators of coal quality were considered and a more effective sorting method was proposed. The characteristics of coal and technologies developed in the field are presented. The efficiency of coal sorting by granulometric composition for obtaining high-quality coal is considered, methods of operational planning and optimization of daily coal production in the conditions of the Maikuben mine are developed, taking into account the requirements of quality, economic efficiency and technical capability. It is proposed to introduce a sorting plant at the transshipment point of the Maikuben mine. The entire path of coal from the deposit to the final consumer is described. In this work, the following goals were set: to investigate the sorting of coal in the conditions of the Maikuben mine and to determine a more efficient way of sorting. To achieve these results, the following were used: analysis of geological and scientific works on exploration, sorting and mining of coal.
