Abstract
이 글에서는 한국과 조선, 중국, 겨레말큰사전 등의 코리안 표기법을 복합적 문자사용과 관련된 개념들로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 앞으로의 표기법, 또는 표기관행이 어떻게 구성될 수 있는지 또한 가늠해 보았다. 표기 체계 자체나 하향식정책 결정에 중점을 두지 않고 문자사용자와 그 표기 수행에 초점을 둔 개념들은 표기법이 문자사용 관행에 의해 뒷받침되어야 하며, 문자사용자들의 일상적 접촉과 교류를 통해 이러한 관행과 정체성이 바뀌어 갈 수 있음을 보여준다. 이에 따라 이미 존재하는 관련 공간들에서의 표기 관행을 더 자세히 살펴보려는 노력이 요구된다.
