Abstract

The paper demonstrates financial illiteracy as an economic threat. The topic is relevant due to the fact that the debt load of the Russian population indicates low financial literacy. Polls and studies only prove this thesis. At the same time, the low level of financial literacy leads to economic problems throughout the state, and therefore the situation must be eliminated. At the end of the article, the author forms proposals that, when put into practice, are able to solve the identified problem.
