Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the syntax of the phraseological units of the Avar language. In a sentence, phraseological units most often act as semantic equivalents of phrases and words. Phraseological units enrich the language with imagery, capacity, depth, therefore they are more often found in the works of oral folk art. A comprehensive study of the syntax of the phraseological units of the Avar language allows you to get an idea about the features of their functioning and about their main structural, semantic and stylistic types.
