Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to present the right direction for youth missions based on an understanding of the unestablished worldview of youth under the strong influence of the scientific worldview, through the worldview from the Book of Ecclesiastes. Youth inside and outside of the church get confused due to the incomplete worldview. The concept of ‘double-layered Christianity’ does not show much difference. Thus, the fundamental direction of youth missions must be presented upon the biblical Christian worldview. The researcher presents Hebel, fearing God, and Helek, the core ideas of the worldview from the Book of Ecclesiastes. This idea stops people living in the world of limitation from the arrogance of judging and lets them see the true meaning of life in their Creator God. Hevel, fearing God, and Helek’s worldview sets lives to the Creator and provides alternatives, solutions, and hope in the infinite possibilities in God.
