Abstract

Recently, various political, religious, and cultural extremisms are being discussed as one cause of terrorism around the world. In addition, it presents the dangers of socially vulnerable groups affected by various types of extreme messages. In particular, we are closely watching the seriousness of the impact and potential spread of violent extremism. The world as well as the UN are recommending the need to analyze the actual situation and risk factors of violent extremism inflow into their countries, and to establish countermeasures. Also, multidimensional approach is required because this violent extremism spans many areas, including society, economy, religion, education, and development. In addition, since the motives for participation in terrorism are also analyzed in various ways, including political, religious, cultural, socioeconomic and personal reasons(poverty, social dissatisfaction, curiosity, etc.) serious discussions on violent extremism and terrorism are needed.
