Abstract

The article is an attempt to decode a literary text to identify an individual psychological content in it. On the basis of philological and psychological analysis it is proved that Shevchenko’s linguistic identity is characterized by two types of accentuation – emotive and affective-exalted. At the level of the text it is seen in the high frequency of emotions: tears, crying, in the repetition of verbal formulas containing motivational and volitional qualities, as well as in a peculiar syntactic and intonational phrase organization.
