Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the English-language training webinar as a specific genre of a virtual pedagogical discourse. The author analyzes the main genre-forming characteristics of the webinar (goal, participants, chronotope, values and features of webinar texts) and comes to the conclusion that the webinar is a hybrid oral-written synchronous hypertext that exists objectively both online and offline and possesses a number of linguistic system-forming parameters.
