Abstract

The development of territorial communities in Ukraine is carried out in accordance with the strategies that they have developed and must implement. The leather strategy for the development of the territorial community must undergo a strategic environmental assessment, which is subject to public discussion with the help of scientists and experts. The purpose of the article is to highlight the results of scientific consultations in order to improve the strategic environmental assessment research in the context of the Development Strategy of the Mishkovo–Pohorilivska rural territorial community until 2027 through the implementation of public expertise. The methods used in the research: comparison, economic analysis, systematization, arrangement, etc. The hypothesis of the research was the assumption that, thanks to scientific consultations, the development strategy of the Mishkovo–Pohorilivka rural territorial community and, accordingly, the strategic environmental assessment, the reduction of the negative impact on the environment is improved. Presenting main material. According to the results of the research of the results of the public examination report on the strategic environmental assessment in the context of the Development Strategy of the Mishkovo–Pohorilivska rural territorial community until 2027, it was stated that the research was completed in accordance with the current regulatory and legal framework and contains all the mandatory stages of conducting a strategic environmental assessment. However, some comments and recommendations have been identified. The originality and practical significance of the research lies in the need to take into account the impact and consequences of the war on the development of the Mishkovo–Pohorilivska rural territorial community in the post-war period. Conclusions. The analysis of the results of the public examination of the research on the strategic ecological assessment in the context of the Development Strategy of the Mishkovo–Pohorilivska rural territorial community proved that this assessment was carried out qualitatively and professionally. Further research should be aimed at investigating the impact of the consequences of the war on the Mykolaiv region and the Mishkovo–Pohorilivska rural territorial community after the end of the hostilities.
