In the preliminary scale development phase, 150 students of a sports walking subject in the university were selected by convenience sampling. In the main survey, 215 students of the sports walking subject were selected as the subjects of the study for one-year semesters. The analysis of the collected data was conducted using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0, which carried out descriptive statistics analysis for analyzing the characteristics of each question, reliability and validity analysis through internal consistency, exploratory factor analysis for exploring factor structure between questions and confirmatory factor analysis of scale model. The findings are as follows. The sub-factors of the sports walking emotional change scale, which secured validity, were analyzed to be relatively stable in the analysis of the fit of the measurement model. As specific sub-factors, positive emotion, negative emotion, health promotion and social communication structure constituted a scale of sports walking emotional change. In particular, it was confirmed that negative emotional change can be measured according to the strength change of sport walking among sub-factors.
