Abstract

The article reveals the issues of digitalization of processes in the production sector. Digital transformation provides businesses with the opportunity to streamline manufacturing operations, improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve product quality. The article highlights the problems that hinder the introduction of digital technologies and the transformation of digitalization processes in the manufacturing industry. The author in tabular form presents practical ways to apply digital technologies and innovations in the manufacturing sector to achieve optimization and improvement of business processes in companies. The areas of digitalization of production processes include machine vision systems and robots involved in the automation of assembly and inspection of the production sector. Attention is paid to digital twins, representing a virtual replica of a physical object or system that fully reflects its characteristics, behavior and interactions in a real environment. The role of digital twins in providing continuous monitoring and providing real-time information about production processes and systems is revealed. The importance of implementing digital transformation is summarized, which allows enterprises to adapt to changes in the external and internal environment.
