Abstract
The paper is focused on acculturation and effective integration of ethnic minorities into the dominating language and cultural environment. The multicultural education is considered as a factor of enhancing stability in the RF on the basis of peaceful coexistence and close interaction among its various nations and ethnic groups. 
 Multicultural education also helps to deter separatism and 
 nationalism, argues the author.
