Abstract
One of the most popular scientific areas of modern computer science is the Internet of Things. The idea of its implementation is actively developing, as it can significantly affect the development of modern society. The main feature of the Internet of Things is the ability to manage many processes without human intervention. In recent years, the influence of the Internet of Things has been growing, and therefore it is of great importance to actively strengthen research on key technologies and applications of the Internet of Things. Based on this, this article discusses the basic concepts of the Internet of Things as a technological phenomenon of the XXIst century.
