Abstract

The development of the industrial sector has been and remains the cornerstone of economic competitiveness for many years. Therefore, it is vital to assess the industry’s competitiveness and comprehensively analyze the factors that influence it. In this paper, we have conducted a comparative analysis of industry competitiveness in the Republic of Armenia and the countries of the EAEU, focusing on its key components. The results reveal issues within the industry and highlight gaps in industrial policy. Specifically, we have not managed to use the economic opportunities provided by the EAEU framework for expanding the export of technological goods, fostering a competitive industry structure and enhancing the competitiveness of domestic products.
