Abstract
ESS facility’s demand and supply are increasing explosively because of ‘Carbon Neutral’ energy policy for human beings sustainable development. However lithium-ion batteries which are mostly used in ESS have a fatal shortcoming that they are sensitive to heat and impact. So our research team proceeds a study about two main purposes to protect our citizens safety from a fire risk of ESS. First, we make a shielding equipment that blocks out radiation and minimizes exhaustion of physical strength so that firefighters can search obstructive factors more safety and efficiently while putting out the fire. Second, we make an efficient confrontational tactic that utilizes the developed shielding equipment. Through our research, we expect it will be used for basic research data that makes fire response capability strong about ESS facility.
