مقدمه ای بر آرمان شهرگرایی (An Introduction to Utopianism)

Abstract

Persian Abstract: اندیشه داشتن زندگی ایده آل و آرمانی قدمتی به درازای تاریخ دارد. از آن زمان که «حضرت آدم» و «حوا» از بهشت رانده شده و در زمین سکنی داده شدند، سودای بازگشت به زندگی آرمانی و به دور از نقائص و پلیدی ها همواره ذهن بشر وامانده و سرگشته را به خود مشغول داشته است. به عنوان مثال در «حماسه سومری گیلگمش» مربوط به هزاره دوم پیش از میلاد، توصیف نوعی بهشت زمینی را می یابیم: «در آنجا آوای زاغ به گوش نمی رسید، پرنده مرگ فریاد مرگ سرنمیداد، شیر نمی درید، کبوتر نمی¬نالید، نه بیوه ای بود نه مرضی، نه پیری و نه مویه ای» اما این اندیشه بیشتر از آنکه تنها صورتی درونی و باطنی صرف داشته باشد توسط اندیشمندان، فلاسفه درونی و ادیبان و در اثر تحولات جوامع از مرحله تخیل صرف قدم به مرحله نگارش و ایده پردازی گذاشت. در میان آثار فراوان نگاشته شده برخی با رویکرد دینی و برخی غیردینی، و بعضی با نگاهی صرفا ادبی و در قالب رمان ها و داستان ها و گروهی دیگر با عقلانیت و پردازش های فلسفی و علمی پدید آمده اند. آرمان و آرمان گرایی، مفاهیمی هستند که به طور ویژه در حوزه های مختلفی همانند سیاست، اجتماع، اقتصاد و فرهنگ قابل طرح اند. اما آنچه در اینجا مورد بحث است، کارکردی است که این مفاهیم در ترکیب با واژگانی همانند شهر یا مدینه پیدا می کنند. تقارن این دو مفهوم در واژگانی نظیر آرمان شهر یا آرمان شهرگرایی ظرفیتی را پدید می آورد که تمام حوزه های بالا را دربرمیگیرد. شمول این گستره وسیع به دلیل کارکرد خاصی است که مفهوم «شهر» به واژه «آرمان» میبخشد. زیرا این کلمه (شهر) جمعیتی را به ذهن تبادر میکند که با فرهنگی واحد، تحت نظام و قانونی واحد در مکانی معین گرد هم آمده اند. English Abstract: The idea of having an ideal life is as old as history of world. Since Adam and Eve were banished from paradise and settled on earth, the desire to return to a life of idealism, free from defects and evils, has always considered by the human mind. For example, in the Sumerian epic of Gilgamesh from the second millennium BC, is a description of a paradise: There was no sound of crows and the bird of death; roar of loan or cry of pigeons. It was neither a widow nor a disease, not getting old and not a moan”. This idea is not merely an inner and esoteric impact, but it processed from mere imagination to writing and thinking by scholars, inner philosophers and literatures and by the society evolutions. Among the many written works, some of them are with a religious and some non-religious approach, some with a purely literary perspective, in the form of novels and stories, and others with a rational and philosophical and scientific process. Idealism is a concept that is particularly relevant in various fields such as politics, society, economics and culture. The function of these concepts in combination with words such as or medina should be noted. The convergence of these two concepts in terms such as utopia or idealism creates a capacity that encompasses all of the above areas. The inclusion of this vast area is due to the specific function that the concept of city gives to the word ideal. Because the word (city) points to a population that is united by a single culture and under a single system of law and order.
