Abstract

<p>The purpose of the study is to identify the means of verbalization of the concept of «DESIRE» as carriers of the seme ‘desire’, manifested in lexical meaning or as nuclear or peripheral in the prose of 1950-1960 by F.A. Vigdorova. It is established that the verbalizers of the concept «DESIRE» are represented by various parts of speech (with a predominance of verbal vocabulary), which characterize the feelings of the characters, their psychological state, convey moral attitudes, aspirations, reflect the social status of people who lived in 1920-1950, demonstrate pedagogical, axiological, pragmatic views of the writer. The relevance of the work is due to the attention of scientists (Yu.S. Stepanov, P.A. Lekant, E.V. Altabaeva, S.V. Masterskikh, N.N. Orlova et al.) to the study of the category of optativity from the point of view of the anthropocentric approach in linguistics, the novelty is its unexplored in the literary texts of 1950-1960 by F.A. Vigdorova. The article considers the concept of «DESIRE» as a unit of the conceptual sphere of F.A. Vigdorova, which makes it possible to expand the idea of the idiolect and pragmaticon of the writer as a linguistic personality.</p>
