Abstract

In 1928-1932, popular uprisings against the policy of collectivization engulfed the Dzhanibek and Chingirlau districts of the West Kazakhstan region. As a result of the study, documents were found in the archives of the Police Department of the WKO, indicating the presence of popular protests against the policy of collectivization in the Dzhanibek and Chingirlau regions.The article discusses the causes and consequences of resistance to collective farming in the village of Kuygenkol, the protest against collectivization in the Chingirlau district in the West Kazakhstan region, the course of events, the social composition of participants based on archival data. In the course of the study of the popular uprising in the West Kazakhstan region, the protests and the uprising in the Dzhanibek and Chingirlau districts of the West Kazakhstan region against collectivization were comprehensively considered. The names of the persons involved in the events in the Dzhanibek and Chingirlau regions have been fully established, and the charges and sentences brought against them have been announced for the first time on the basis of archival documents. The author proposes to carry out a full political rehabilitation of the victims of political repressions.
