Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analysis the correlation between the record of standing broad jump and the biomechanical factors. The study subjects were 9 high school students(age=19 yrs, height=171.1±9.17 cm, weight=65.1±14.2 kg), without any serious musculoskeletal problems for 1 year before the study. Spearman’s rho coefficient method was used to find the correlations between record of standing broad jump and the biomechanical factors(flexion/extension angle and peak ground reaction force and peak moment of the lower extremity joints). Correlations between record of standing broad jump and the trunk angle of event 3(r=-.750, p.05), peak posterior ground reaction force(r=.733, p.05) and vertical ground reaction force(r=.683, p.05), peak extension moment of the ankle joint(r=-.700, p.05), extension moment of the hip joint(r=-.883, p.05).
