Abstract

Objectives This study aims to find out the effect of childcare teachers' determination and creativity on play sup-port ability.
Methods To this end, a survey was conducted on five childcare teachers aged 300 to 0 working at daycare centers located in Gwangju Metropolitan City and Jeollanam-do. The collected questionnaires were analyzed using the SPSS 24.0 program, and frequency and percentage, Cronbach α coefficient, mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis were calculated. In addition, t-test, one-way batch variation analysis, and post-verification were performed, and data were processed through Pearson's appropriate ratio correlation analysis and multiple re-gression analysis.
Results We first analyzed the mean, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis of the study variables and all sat-isfied normality. Second, there was a static correlation between the fighting spirit, creativity, and play support ability of childcare teachers. Third, it can be interpreted that the determination and creativity of childcare teachers have a great influence on play support ability.
Conclusions The purpose of this study is to develop and distribute programs that systematically support fighting spirit and creativity to strengthen childcare teachers' play support capabilities, and to understand the causal rela-tionship between major variables to provide basic data for improving teachers' high-quality play support capa-bilities in childcare sites.
