Abstract

This study was conducted to compare the operational efficiency between Korea National Food Cluster and other industrial complexes. After selecting input and output factors, Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) was used to measure operational efficiency. Input factors are the designated area, business expenses, and the number of employees. And output factors are the amount of production and the number of resident companies. As a result of the analysis, the operational efficiency of Korea National Food Cluster was found to be “1” in both the CCR model and the BCC model. It is relatively more efficient than other industrial complexes. In addition, it was found that there was a difference according to the scale characteristics of industrial complexes depending on the section of operational efficiency.
