Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the organizational agility and learning agility on organizational resilience of hotel companies and to suggest useful implications for hotel companies facing continuous and unpredictable environmental change. An online survey was conducted on 5-star hotel employees in Seoul, and a total of 214 copies were used for analysis. As the result of the analysis, organizational agility and learning agility had a significant positive effect on organizational resilience. This suggests that hotel companies have to be interested in establishing an environment suitable for organizational resilience. Hotel managers have to strengthen the level of autonomy and empowerment of employee for organizational agility. In addition, in order to improve learning agility, it is necessary to establish an organizational culture that is easy for organizational members to learn, implement, and share information and knowledge.
