Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of elastography images of ovarian pregnancy, corpus luteum in the presence of menstrual cycle disorders and in case of ovarian apoplexy. The gestational sac was defined as a rigid structure relative to the ovarian tissue and was displayed in blue. The corpus luteum was also defined as a rigid structure in blue color. In the differential diagnosis of ovarian pregnancy and active corpus luteum of abnormal structure in the presence of menstrual disorders, elastography did not provide any additional information. In ovarian apoplexy, the elastography image was different. The corpus luteum was defined as a low-elastic structure in yellow and green colors with red inclusions in the center relative to the rest of the ovarian tissue. Key words: ovarian pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, elastography, ultrasonography
