Abstract
This article provides an assessment of the current state of the Russian stock market. In 2022, the Russian financial system faced unprecedented sanctions pressure. Many institutional players have left the Russian market. Nevertheless, it can be stated that for the domestic economy it is the most important institution that allows achieving a synergistic effect of the actions of individuals and businesses.
