Abstract

In a market economy, the state needs to regulate the state of the competitive environment, since exclusively market mechanisms most often lead to the formation of monopolies and subsequently the abuse of a dominant position in the market, as well as other negative phenomena. The article examines the legal framework for state regulation of competition protection, analyzes the activities of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation for the period from 2018 to 2020, and assesses the implementation of the National Plan for the Development of Competition.
