Abstract

The presented work analyzes theoretical approaches to determining the economic security of the region. Based on the study of existing positions, they point to the versatility of this concept and the complexity of the formulation, taking into account not only socio-economic, but also cultural and historical features of the development of individual territories. The authors note the need to focus, first of all, on internal socio-economic stability, given the negative exogenous influence. The need for continuous improvement of the decisions taken, in the framework of ensuring the competitiveness of manufactured goods, was noted.
