Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the significance of the village learning curriculum by examining the concept and content of the village learning curriculum. Method: For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with elementary school teachers, administrators, parents, and village teachers who had experience participating in the village learning curriculum. Results: The village learning curriculum involves learning through organic relationships with the village, which is the object and subject of learning, in the village. Conclusion: The significance of the village learning curriculum was discussed focusing on the research results.
