Abstract

The article attempts to show the origin of the main idea of the philosophy of K. Popper - the principle of falsification. It is shown how the Popper criterion of scientificness is formed in discussions with Marxism and psychoanalysis, and the role of Einstein's discoveries in the formation of the Austrian philosopher is also explicated.
