Abstract

Aim. To study the structure of somatic and genital pathology of women receiving spa treatment. Materials and methods. On the basis of the Pogranichnik clinical sanatorium, a continuous retrospective study was carried out, covering women who received spa treatment in 2019-2020. The material for the study was 837 case histories of patients. The criteria for inclusion in the study were: the patient’s appeal to an obstetrician-gynecologist in a sanatorium, consent to the examination. Exclusion criteria from the study: absence of examination by an obstetrician-gynecologist in the patient, informed consent. For statistical analysis, the programs Micrisoft Exel and Statistica 13 (methods for small series of observations) were used. Results. Among all age categories of women observed by an obstetrician-gynecologist of a clinical sanatorium, a fairly high somatic polymorbidity was noted. It was revealed that in the structure of extragenital pathology, the percentage of women with arterial hypertension is significant. Obesity of various degrees also prevails, and with age, the proportion of women with higher degrees of obesity increases, as well as the number of diseases that have a direct relationship with obesity: among somatic diseases, from disorders of carbohydrate metabolism and diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism to arterial hypertension, to gynecological diseases in the form of uterine fibroids and various types of mastopathy. Among gynecological pathology, inflammatory diseases traditionally prevailed in the form of various kinds of vaginitis and vaginal dysbiosis, in second place is uterine myoma and fibrocystic mastopathy, which have a close relationship with the above somatic pathology. Conclusion. Even at the stage of sanatorium-resort treatment of women, the view of an obstetrician-gynecologist is not narrow in relation to gynecological pathology, but considering a specific patient with her concomitant diseases in a complex An integrated approach to patients made it possible to fully implement the principles of modern medicine.
