Abstract

Purpose: This paper finds out why non-special origin verification between Korea and China is important, because post-verification of exported goods is not carried out. This raises issues such as false issuance of certificates of origin or laundering of origin.

Results: According to this study, there are differences in application standards under the legal system verifying non-Korean origin in both Korea and China
Conclusions: Owing to differences between Korea and China in the criteria determining non-preferential origin, it is necessary to respond effectively to contribute to trade facilitation by solving customs and procedural problems in the import and export processes with China.
