Abstract

The article deals with the problem of interpreting J. Habermas' concept of the postsecular society. It is pointed out that in Russian academic and journalistic discourse the concept of postsecular society is often conflated with the notion of de-secularization and often identified with the end of the secular age. Such an interpretation differs from the original meaning of the concept. The difference is due to the specifics of the religious situation in contemporary Russia.
