Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the consuming behaviors and traits of overseas golf tour participants and to suggest basic data for developing managerial strategies to lead golfers to domestic golf resorts. The subjects of the study was from three major cities which are T Metropolitan City, P Metropolitan City and K Province. Total number of subjects were 213 golfers who were over 20 years old, over 6 months golf experiences and have participated in overseas golf tour at least 1 times recently. Using SPSSWIN Ver. 14.0 program, data were analysed for a frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, and a correlation analysis. In addition, Using the AMOS 6.0 program, such tests as CFA(confirmatory factor analysis) were carried out. in order to analyze the course relations among variables, a path analysis were carried out on the basis of Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). the statistical level of significance was a.05. The results of the study were as follows: First, demographic factors of the participants have causatively affected the traits of the overseas golf tour participants. Customers` repurchasing behavior. Second, demographic factors of the participants have causatively affected the consuming patterns of the overseas golf tour participants. Third, inducement strategies should be developed by the consuming traits of the overseas golf tour participants. Fourth, inducement strategies should be developed according to the participating patterns of the overseas golf tour participants.
