Abstract
This study dealt the politics of Korean contemporary choreography as an issue. For this, it tried to identify the political nature of resistance to modernity in multidisciplinary and experimental dance works and expanded the discussions. The study set up two tasks. First, it defined the concept of Korean contemporary choreography as a term. Second, it collected dance works classified as contemporary choreography and examined the political nature of these works. The political nature of these works was divided into three categories, which were identities combined with artists'' citizenship as political acts in everyday spaces, dismantling or expanding the roles of performers, and difference and diversity in ways of dealing with senses.
