Abstract

As shown in some investigations, some plant landscapes in urban green spaces have issues of lacking diversity and attraction. Focused on these issues, this study proposes to apply the anthropomorphic method in the field of social psychology to anthropomorphize plant landscapes by adding anthropomorphic guiding slogans. These techniques includes depicting anthropomorphic images of plant objects, depicting anthropomorphic colonies of plant communities, and depicting anthropomorphic scenes of landscape scenes. The effect and key factors of the anthropomorphic design of the plant landscape are analyzed by comparing the survey data of the test and control groups. Through factor analysis, three main factors that affect the evaluation of plant landscape, namely psychological factors, interest factors, and visual factors, are derived. A hypothesis test problem is constructed to evaluate the effects of plant anthropomorphic guiding slogans. As a result of the study, it is turned out that adding suitable anthropomorphic guiding slogans for plant landscapes can effectively enhance the visual appeal of landscapes, narrow the psychological distance between plants and humans, and contribute to nature conservation by allowing people to recognize nature from an equal angle to humans. In particular, it has been shown that anthropomorphism is possible to enhance the attractiveness of young people and to promote the development of natural conservation.
