Abstract

The Buzdyaksky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan is part of the Pre-Ural agricultural zone, characterized by favorable soil and climatic conditions for the development of beekeeping. In 2019, there were 2,832 bee families in the district in all categories of farms; in public sector farms – 2,470; 115.1 tons produced; 65.5 tons of honey were sold. Central Russian and Bashkir breeds of bees are bred. They produce buckwheat, sweet clover, meadow, and sunflower honey varieties. One of the large beekeeping farms is Agricultural cooperative Kidash. Since the 30s of the 20th century at the Bashkir State Agrarian University (BSAU) [M.G. Giniyatullin, A.G. Mannapov, R.T. Mannapova, D.T. Shakirov, I.V. Shafikov et al.] and in the Bashkir zonal beekeeping experimental station (A.M. Kovalev, H.A. Tatukov, V.K. Tursukov, etc.) studies were conducted to increase the productivity of bee colonies in apiaries and others
