Abstract
The algorithm of operation of the modem with increased energy efficiency with quadrature intrapulse phase modulation (QIPPM) in radio lines using extremely low frequencies for underwater communication is described. In this case, the increase in energy efficiency of the modem with QIPPM is achieved by reducing its frequency efficiency and introducing additional code redundancy. This allows for a 2-fold increase in depth for underwater communication. At the same time the probability of erroneous reception of code combinations is reduced to a minimum.
