Abstract
Modern analytical philosophy studies religious, moral, political, ideological and practical beliefs as elements of ideological systems. At the same time, she poses methodological questions: what is the fact of an individual’s conviction? Is belief related to decision and will? An illustrative example of the answer to these questions of analysis is the work of Bernard Williams. This article summarizes one of his articles.
